~Summer Social Skills Camp

The Art of Friendship offers an intensive ESY summer program for children who need help with socialization.

6 one-week sessions set to various themes (click on the PDF brochure for details)
Elementary School Students 9:30am-12:30am five days per week
Coed art, music and play groups
Small group size (7 children per group, 3 therapist-counselors per group)
Direct instruction of social lessons on social awareness and social skills and coping strategies
Michelle Garcia-Winner’s social thinking model plus cognitive-behavioral coping strategies
Success-oriented art therapy and music therapy group activities provide structure and support
No art or music talent necessary for maximum social success and learning!
Lead counselors are highly experienced master’s level art and music therapists who specialize in the treatment of children with social cognitive deficits
STRUCTURED FUN IN THE SUMMER!
Contract with school districts to bring ESY students into camp
